#7 What is Work & Travel USA ?

Have you all heard about Work & Travel USA program before? 

YES? NO? 

So, what is Work & Travel USA ? 

Basically, Work & Travel USA is an official US State Department exchange programme that allows students in tertiary education from around the world to visit the USA during their semester break to experience life and culture in US through working and traveling there. Every year, around 50,000 students participate in Work & Travel USA. 

CIEE (Council on International Education Exchange) is the largest such sponsor, sending some 30,000 students to the US every year. In Malaysia, there is two agency for the student to apply this program. Out of the box (OOTB Personal Development Sdn Bhd) is one of the appointed representative for Work & Travel USA in Malaysia. 

To be eligible to participate in Work & Travel USA, you must meet the following requirements: 

• at least 18 years old 
• enrolled in a full time course at a state-recognised institution of tertiary education 
• able to function in an English speaking working environment 
• have a pre-arranged job and a minimum of US$500 available to support yourself upon arrival in the USA.

Why Participate in Work & Travel USA ?

This program is one of the best ways for you to discover the city in US. US is a huge country, with many different places to visit and things to see. What makes it even more special is that it is also a great way for you to discover more about yourself. You will have more than just great memories and photos. You will also have international work experience, which will enhance your CV. You will have had a chance to hone your English skills. And perhaps most important, you will have learned how to survive in a new and challenging environment, developing skills you can’t get sitting in a classroom or reading a book – interpersonal skills, negotiating skills, survival skills. All these will stand you in good stead in the future.

Work & Travel USA is available two season a year:

• Summer (14th May- 21th Sep)
• Winter (15th Nov- 3rd Mar)

#6 myBurgerLab @ PJ Seapark

Recently keep heard my fren mention about there is a very Famous "Charcoal bun burger" in PJ Seapark. Decided to check out this famous burger shop with Mr.Simon. myBurgerLab start their business on 5PM, but they are always sold out the burger around 8PM - 9PM. Please come early if you really wanna to have a try of their burger. 

Okay, we reach there around 7pm and as you can see it is CROWDED ! So, the task for Mr.Simon is queue up and I will go and get a seat..hahahaha :) Thx a lovely couple who asking me to wait beside them as they will be ciao soon, lucky :) 

Finally Mr.Simon manage to make the order after queue for 20min, thx hubby ❤ We order a set of A+ Burger it come with a bottomless soft drink and fries, and ala carte of Beautiful Mess v4.0.

They serve with fried portabella mushroom, sunny side up(egg) & swiss cheese. First time of trying the fried portabella mushroom, it is Amazingggggg !!! It is coated in a light breading and the mushroom are very juicy XD 

A+ Burger ❤

This burger serve with sharp cheddar, caramalised onions and shiitake & enokie mushroom. This mushroom is different with the portabella mushroom, this is much more like japanese style teppanyaki mushroom. Compare with Beautiful Mess, this burger more juicy then that. 

I personally think that their ventilation system is very bad. From Mr.Simon opinion, the cakes are really so-so. But to be honest, their burger is really worth for a try ❤ Will visit again because I heard my fren said their Spicy Haiwaiian worth for try too.
